The Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE) is seeking a dynamic and passionate Community Teacher to join our Community Engagement and Development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to community building, education, and outreach, with a focus on fostering positive relationships between the university and the surrounding community.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Outreach and Engagement:

Develop and implement strategies to engage with the local community, including residents, businesses, and organizations.
Establish and maintain partnerships with community stakeholders to enhance collaboration and address shared goals.
Educational Programs:

Design and deliver educational programs that address the needs and interests of the community.
Organize workshops, seminars, and events to promote lifelong learning and skill development.
Collaboration with University Departments:

Work closely with academic departments and faculty to integrate community engagement into the curriculum.
Facilitate collaboration between students, faculty, and community members on research and service-learning projects.
Communication and Advocacy:

Serve as a liaison between the university and the community, advocating for the interests and needs of both.
Develop communication materials to keep the community informed about university initiatives and opportunities.
Assessment and Evaluation:

Monitor and evaluate the impact of community programs and initiatives.
Collect feedback from community members to assess the effectiveness of outreach efforts.
Event Coordination:

Plan and execute community events that promote a sense of belonging and connection.
Coordinate logistics, secure resources, and ensure events run smoothly.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in education, community development, social work, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Previous experience in community engagement, outreach, or education.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people.
Familiarity with the local community and its needs.
Organizational and project management skills.
